04 May, 2020. In response to the growing impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on healthcare and commercial businesses in the Dubai Healthcare City (DHCC) free zone, we are pleased to announce a Business Relief Package for partners in the DHCC Community, comprising cost-saving initiatives to reduce overheads and support business continuity.
To date, several precautionary measures have made it mandatory for partners to suspend certain operations, act on HSE (Health, Safety and Environment) requirements, increase investment in technology to support remote work, and in the case of some clinical operations, limit services to only urgent and emergency care. Several commercial businesses have been affected as well.
Dubai Healthcare City Authority (DHCA), the governing body of DHCC, has considered the overall impact of these measures on various segments in the free zone both in terms of operations and footfall.
Applicable immediately, partners will benefit from a range of measures. For details, please refer to the
DHCA Business Relief Package for Partners in Investor buildings.
DHCA Relief Package has the following terms:
- No retroactive refunds.
- Discounted regulatory fees can be availed only during the duration of the period (3 months) from the date of this announcement, except commercial license and clinical operating permit renewal fees which apply until only 31 December, 2020.

We look forward to strengthening the DHCC Community.
