COVID-19 Update on guidelines for buildings in DHCC

18 March, 2020. In line with directives from the Government of Dubai and in cooperation with relevant authorities, we would like to inform you about instructions for partners in all buildings - Dubai Healthcare City-owned* as well as investor buildings, in the free zone.

With immediate effect, Dubai Healthcare City Authority, the governing body of Dubai Healthcare City (DHCC), instructs partners to adopt the below guidelines.
  1. Suspend access to mosques and prayer rooms until further notice: As per instructions from the National Emergency Crisis and Disaster Management Authority and General Authority of Islamic Affairs and Endowments, building management teams are instructed to temporarily suspend access to mosques and prayer rooms (male/female); access to ablution areas is not permitted.
  2. COVID-19 guideline template now available: In cooperation with the Dubai Free Zone Council, partners are encouraged to adapt the attached 'Internal Guidelines Template for Issuance by Entity' to disseminate among their employees.
  3. Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) preparedness advice: The service providers including Facilities Management (FM) and HSE Teams where applicable in all buildings in the free zone are advised to refer to the DHCA HSE Infection Control and Preparedness Plan. We also advise partners to carry out comprehensive sterilisation for units and common areas; please refer to the Dubai Municipality Health & Safety Approved List

We request all partners in investor buildings to forward this communication to respective service providers and FM and HSE Teams as applicable.

* Al Jalila Foundation (building 12); Mohammed Bin Rashid Academic Medical Center (building 14); Ibn Sina Medical Complex (building 27); Al Zahrawi (building 34); and Al Razi Medical Complex (building 64).

We look forward to your understanding and support to help limit the spread of COVID-19.
