DHCA Alert: COVID-19 – Updated Case Definition for COVID-19 and Incident Protocol

02 April, 2020. In line with national efforts towards combating the COVID-19 pandemic, and in cooperation with the National Emergency Crisis and Disaster Management Authority, Ministry of Health and Prevention, and Dubai Health Authority, we would like to inform you of latest guidelines in relation to management and reporting incidents.

Please refer to:

• Updated Case Definition for COVID-19 as of 30 March, applicable to clinical partners and healthcare professionals dealing with persons who may be suspected of COVID-19.
• DHCA COVID-19 Incident Protocol as of April 1, applicable to all members of the DHCC Community who may deal with staff, visitors and/or patients suspected of COVID-19.
