28 April, 2020. Today we announce the launch of a dedicated COVID-19 Fund in partnership with Al Jalila Foundation.
As we, Dubai Healthcare City Authority (DHCA), the governing body of Dubai Healthcare City, seek support from organisations and people in the UAE, we take this opportunity to thank you for the incredible levels of commitment towards fighting the pandemic, and to remind you that we need to strengthen this spirit of cooperation to continue our good work.
From volunteering initiatives to charitable activities and fundraising, communities from across the UAE are actively participating to help mitigate the effects of the pandemic.
In alignment with these national, humanitarian efforts, the DHCA COVID-19 Fund calls on residents to support private hospitals at the frontline of COVID-19 care, and its patients. Charity partner Al Jalila Foundation will receive the funds raised in the UAE and will assess the needs of DHCC-based clinical facilities and/or patients, and donations will be channelled accordingly. The Fund also strengthens DHCA's efforts to build and sustain healthcare capacity through its
Volunteering Program.
