03 June, 2020. In line with national efforts to resume activities in the UAE while ensuring compliance with precautionary and preventive measures, Dubai Healthcare City Authority (DHCA), the governing body of Dubai Healthcare City, would like to inform you that the below measures have been introduced in DHCA-owned *buildings.
Mandatory temperature screening:
- All employees, contractors, sub-contractors and visitors must undergo temperature screening at all entry points including those on the ground floor and basements; no person is exempt from screening procedures.
- Screening will be carried out by DHCA security personnel using handheld thermal scanners.
- A person with a temperature reading of 37.4° C or higher will be denied entry, and requested to wait for 10 minutes in a waiting area before repeated measurement.
*DHCA-owned buildings: Mohammed Bin Rashid Academic Medical Center (building 14), Ibn Sina Medical Complex (building 27), Al Zahrawi (building 34), and Al Razi Medical Complex (building 64).
The entry/exit points in DHCA buildings have been rationalised for security and safety reasons; as such certain doors will remain closed temporarily so kindly follow the displayed signage.
In addition, all partners in DHCA and Investor buildings are mandated to report suspected cases. Each employee, contractor and visitor must report any case of suspected COVID-19 if he/she has come in close contact with a suspected or confirmed COVID-19 case. Please refer to updated
DHCA COVID-19 Incident Protocol as of June 2.
We look forward to your understanding and support to help limit the spread of COVID-19.
