18 March, 2021. Dubai Healthcare City Authority (DHCA), the governing body of Dubai Healthcare City (DHCC), would like to extend its appreciation to all strategic partners for the relentless efforts in providing better healthcare to patients, assuring resilience and providing support during this challenging time.
In order to assure efficacy, safety and quality of all types of COVID -19 vaccines in the Emirate of Dubai and DHCC in light of possible side effects related to AstraZeneca vaccine, health facilities are mandated to abide by the following:
- Identify and report cases of adverse events among staff following immunization with AstraZeneca vaccine
- Report cases documented within Internal Medicine, Vascular or other units, for patients who received AstraZeneca vaccine. These includes, but not limited to any clotting issues such as DVT, PE, limb ischemia etc.
