Held under the Royal Patronage of the Chairperson of Dubai Healthcare City Authority HRH Princess Haya Bint Al Hussein, wife of HH Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, welcome to the Dubai Healthcare City Authority Excellence Awards 2018 edition.
Message from the CEO
Dear Valued Partners,
"The race for excellence has no finish line," said HH Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, and founder of Dubai Healthcare City.
HH Sheikh Mohammed's words illustrate what we, as Dubai Healthcare City, set out to do - improve the health and
wellbeing of people and communities.
Under the Royal Patronage of the Chairperson of Dubai Healthcare City Authority HRH Princess Haya Bint Al Hussein, wife of HH Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, we are proud to announce the 2018 edition of the Dubai Healthcare City Authority Excellence Awards.
When we launched the Dubai Healthcare City Authority Excellence Awards in 2017, we reinforced our quest for excellence and innovation in healthcare. The inaugural edition recognized innovative practices and initiatives by our clinical partners who have significantly contributed to patient care, safety
and experience.
Through the Awards, we demonstrated the quality of healthcare in the free zone and its focus on regulations and international standards. We were able to bring the work
by our partners to the forefront of the healthcare sector in UAE.
Our 2018 edition will once again nurture excellence and innovation in healthcare. We have introduced additional categories – totaling six - to showcase the remarkable contributions by an individual healthcare professional and to recognize volunteerism, women in healthcare and young professionals.
In line with the vision of the UAE's leadership, I encourage you to participate and share your success. In this race for excellence, we are on the same team.
Sincerely,
Dr Ramadan AlBlooshi
CEO, Dubai Healthcare City Authority - Regulatory
